Nilfisk-Advance has listened to its customers' requirements and is introducing a ‘no-frills’ compact, ride-on sweeper built to provide reliable, high quality sweeping efficiency.

The SR 1100S is available in both petrol and battery driven versions, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor operation. It has superb manoeuvrability with a tight turning radius, so it is ideal for cleaning in narrow aisles and other congested areas.

To ensure robust and reliable performance the sweeper has a solid metal traction motor support and broom motor circuit breakers. The simple, yet strong construction is achieved by using polyethylene on a steel frame body. |
|
The company believes there will be a strong demand from contract cleaners and small to medium sized industrial companies, hotels, supermarkets, education establishments and anywhere there is a requirement to regularly maintain a clean, dust-free area at the rate of up to 7,000 sq m per hour. The SR 1100S is also suitable for indoor carpet sweeping. |
|
With a main filter area of 5 sq m and hopper capacity of 70 litres the SR 1100S will collect a large amount of debris without creating dust. An optional remote on-board vacuum system is available for customers wanting to collect debris from tight corners and above floor level.
The battery version has a standard running time of four hours, but with the optional battery tray this can be extended to six.
The working width, with side brushes is 900mm; this increases to 1100mm on the left hand side brush model.
Driver comfort is ensured thanks to the adjustable seat and steering wheel. The design also provides the user with optimum visibility from the driver’s seat and there is a self-explanatory operating panel to further increase the ease of use and cut down on training time.
