The Nimbus motorcycle is revived in 1934 with a new and much improved model, which earns the nickname of "the bumble bee" thanks to the distinctive sound of its engine. Competition from other motorcycles increases through the 1950s and production ceases for good in 1959.
In 1932 a new and radical Nilfisk vacuum cleaner is introduced. In comparison to its contemporaries, it is almost silent and becomes known as "the Silent Dane".
